Chicago-based Advanced Life Sciences to be showcased
at prestigious equity conferences
Woodridge, Ill, October 1, 2002 - Advanced Life Sciences, Inc.
(ALS) will be participating in two highly prestigious equity conferences,
both taking place today, announced Michael T. Flavin, Ph.D., ALS's
Chief Executive Officer.
Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO) selected ALS as one
of the biotechnology companies who will be showcased at BIO VentureForum
2002 at the Palace Hotel in San Francisco today and tomorrow.
An advisor panel of 41 healthcare venture firms selected ALS from
more than 350 applicants. The presenting companies represent 25
states and six countries.
In addition, William Blair & Co. has invited ALS to present
at that company's Fifth Annual Private Equity Conference at the
Four Seasons Hotel in Chicago. William Blair & Company anticipates
that representatives more than 200 private equity firms will attend.
