    Advanced Life Sciences, Inc. was formed through the evolution of MediChem Research Inc.’s proprietary drug discovery pipeline. MediChem has grown to become an industry leading chemistry outsourcing organization, therefore the proprietary discovery and development projects of MediChem were transferred to the newly formed Advanced Life Sciences.

    Advanced Life Sciences is a virtually integrated life sciences company with a strong pipeline of potential new drug candidates in several disease categories including viral diseases, cancer and inflammation. The Company has established strong patent positions within these product categories.

Advanced Life Sciences, Inc. has also established a proprietary network of outsource service providers and consultants designed to advance drug development programs rapidly through preclinical and clinical development and on to market commercialization. In addition, the Company has contacts throughout academia, government laboratories and large pharmaceutical companies which can act as sources of new drug compounds for in-licensing to the Company.
